Trump’s Nominee for CIA Director, John Ratcliffe, will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee this morning during a confirmation hearing for his role.
President Trump appointed Ratcliffe as CIA Director in November.
“From exposing fake Russian collusion to be a Clinton campaign operation, to catching the FBI’s abuse of Civil Liberties at the FISA Court, John Ratcliffe has always been a warrior for Truth and Honesty with the American Public. When 51 intelligence officials were lying about Hunter Biden’s laptop, there was one, John Ratcliffe, telling the truth to the American People” Trump said in his announcement.
Ratcliffe previously served as Director of National Intelligence at the end of Trump’s first term.
This hearing comes as Trump Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi testifies this morning before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
This also comes after Pete Hegseth’s first confirmation hearing on Tuesday, where Democrat Senators grilled him and pushed bogus rape accusations to smear his character.
As expected, Hegseth’s hearing was explosive.
Ratcliffe is expected to focus on the politicization of the intelligence community during the hearing today.
We can expect Democrats to try to smear Ratcliffe like they did with Hegseth on Tuesday.
The hearing is scheduled for 10 am ET.
