US Veteran, television host, author, and former National Guard officer, Pete Hegseth will answer questions this morning before the US Senate Armed Services Committee.
Pete Hegseth is President Trump’s nominee for US Secretary of Defense.
As Hegseth battles bogus allegations from far-left Democrats and the fake news media of sexual misconduct, he is expected to be attacked by the Democrats.
As previously reported, in 2017, Monterey, California, police investigated an allegation made by a married woman [Jane Doe] who claimed Pete Hegseth sexually assaulted her at a political event, but they found no evidence to support her claims.
Hegseth has denied any wrongdoing and said the encounter was consensual.
Still, top Senators on the Senate Armed Services Committee have been quietly seeking more information on the debunked sex assault accusation against Pete Hegseth ahead of his confirmation hearing.
Last Tuesday, President Trump sounded the alarm on Senate Democrats’ plan to “improperly stall and delay the confirmation process” of many of his Cabinet nominees.
Fireworks are expected at today’s hearing.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, hundreds of US Navy SEALs and veterans will rally today in Washington, DC, to show their support for Hegseth as the Senate confirmation takes place.
Republicans better be paying attention.
