We all know that Ron DeSantis is currently planning to run against President Trump. Yes, it’s happening behind the scenes, but people on all sides of the issue, from all sides of the political spectrum have said it’s happening, and Ron himself won’t deny any of it, so it’s clearly going down. And this is probably one of the most backstabbing, disloyal moves anybody has made against President Trump, and that’s saying a lot, because there’s been so many nasty things done to him. But, if it wasn’t for President Trump, DeSantis wouldn’t even have that job.
Trump dragged him across the finish line in a race he couldn’t even win on his own – against a bisexual meth-head.
And to make matters worse, Ron is saddling up with the GOP establishment and NeverTrumper’s to try and splinter MAGA and take down Trump for good. It’s completely disgusting and a total dirtbag move. There’s no way to spin this in a positive light. Ron is young, he can wait, but he won’t. He’d rather be part of the establishment plan to end MAGA once and for all.
But there are obstacles to get Ron on the ballot… obstacles he’s currently trying like hell to overcome. And one of those is the “Right to Run” law, which would make it impossible for him to run for the White House.
So, Ron, by way of his state cronies, is trying to modify the bill so he can enter the race.
However, standing in his way is investigative reporter Laura Loomer, who once again, isn’t pulling any punches.
Big League Politics reported that congressional candidate and conservative personality Laura Loomer is opposing the Florida state legislature’s efforts to modify the state’s “resign to run” law, which mandates state lawmakers to abdicate their elected office if they run for higher office at the federal level.
There’s increased speculation that the Florida Republican party establishment is supporting this repeal to allow incumbent Republican Governor Ron DeSantis to throw his hat in the presidential ring and challenge Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential elections.
Loomer is now calling on Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) leadership to consider resolutions opposing amendments to Florida’s “resign to run” law.
She tweeted, “BREAKING: In cooperation with several Florida Republican Executive Committee members, and ahead of the @FloridaGOPRPOF quarterly meeting tomorrow, I have drafted a RESOLUTION for all RECs in FL’s 67 counties to oppose the FL legislature changing Florida’s “Resign to Run” law!”

We will be passing out hundreds of copies of this resolution at the RPOF quarterly this weekend, where every Florida Republican elected official is expected to attend, including @GovRonDeSantis. We will have extra copies for the Governor & his staff. ENFORCE ‘Resign to Run’!
The resolution singles out DeSantis and emphasized how he needs to focus on Florida’s political affairs as opposed to double-dipping by running for presidential office while nominally occupying Florida’s gubernatorial position.
“Ron DeSantis is obligated to the electors of the State of Florida to serve the entire four years of his second term as he was elected to serve,” the resolution outlined.
Let’s hope Laura is successful, because there’s no reason on earth, why laws should change for one person. That sounds like something a tyrannical dictator would do.
