The goods were sent under the false pretense that they were “Wedding Party Favors,” “Gift Makeup,” or “Chocolate and Sweets,” as the lawsuit alleges. Yet when officials inspected five of these shipments between July 2019 and January 2023, they discovered thousands of pills of banned substances worth tens of thousands of dollars.
